1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using any part of the PUBLICLLY platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the platform.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and PUBLICLLY Ltd ("PUBLICLLY", "we", or "us"). We may update these terms from time to time, and we will notify you of material changes via email or platform notification.

Journalist accounts require credential verification. You must be a working journalist at a recognised media outlet to use journalist-specific features, including the journalist inbox and source request board.
PR and Organisation accounts represent companies, agencies, or brands. You must have authorisation to act on behalf of the organisation you represent.
You must be at least 16 years old to use PUBLICLLY. Users under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use PUBLICLLY only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You will not:
• Publish, distribute, or pitch content that is false, misleading, defamatory, or infringes on intellectual property rights
• Impersonate another person or organisation, or misrepresent your credentials or affiliation
• Send unsolicited pitches or spam to journalists who have not opted in to receive your communications
• Use the platform to harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Attempt to access, disrupt, or compromise the platform's security systems
• Scrape, automate, or systematically extract data from the platform without authorisation
Violations may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent ban from the platform.
4. Content & Ownership
You retain ownership of all content you publish on PUBLICLLY, including press releases, pitches, source requests, and responses. By publishing content, you grant PUBLICLLY a non-exclusive licence to display, distribute, and process that content for the purpose of operating the platform.
You are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and truthfulness of your content. PUBLICLLY does not endorse or verify the factual accuracy of press releases or pitches distributed through the platform.
We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms, is reported as inappropriate, or is subject to a valid legal complaint.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
PUBLICLLY offers subscription plans with varying features and limits. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually) through Stripe, our payment processor.
You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing period. Refunds are issued at our discretion for unused portions of annual plans.
Free accounts are subject to usage limits and may be restricted in features. We reserve the right to modify pricing and plan features with 30 days' notice.
6. Limitation of Liability
PUBLICLLY is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that press releases will result in coverage, that pitches will be read, or that source requests will receive responses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PUBLICLLY shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid to PUBLICLLY in the 12 months preceding the claim.
